Menyembunyikan Drive Komputer (Hidden Ur Drive)

Ok,To The point aja ada dua alternatif yang bisa dilakukan untuk menyembunyikan atau menghilangkan drive dari tampilan windows kita tanpa melalui registry editor dan tanpa menggunakan software tambahan.
Cara pertama yaitu menggunakan perintah diskpart, dan cara kedua dengan menggunakan gpedit (group policy editor) , yang pasti keduanya sama-sama mudah dilakukan.

Cara Pertama yaitu dengan menggunakan perintah diskpart
1. Klik Start --> Run --> ketik cmd --> klik OK
2. ketik diskpart --> tekan enter



3. ketik list volume --> tekan enter (untuk melihat list drive yang ada di komputer)



Tentukan Drive yang akan disembunyikan, misalnya disini kita akan menyembunyikan drive D
4. ketik select volume 3 --> tekan Enter
5. ketik remove letter D --> tekan Enter
ketik exit untuk keluar dari diskpart.
(untuk melihat hasilnya cek di my computer, pada beberapa kasus komputer harus di-restart terlebih dahulu).

Untuk Mengembalikan atau menampilkan kembali drive yang disembunyikan, lakukan hal yang sama dari langkah 1 sampai 4
Pada langkah 5 perintahnya diubah menjadi :
ketik assign letter D



Cara kedua yaitu dengan menggunakan perintah gpedit (group policy editor)
1. Klik Start --> Run --> ketik gpedit.msc -->klik OK



2. Klik dua kali User Configuration --> Administrative Templates --> Windows Components --> Windows Explorer -->kemudian pilih Hide these specified drives in my computer di jendela sebelah kanan



Pada Jendela Hide specified drives in My Computer : pilih enable, kemudian tentukan drive yang akan disembunyikan (restrict)



Misalnya disini yang akan disembunyikan adalah drive D, maka pilih Restrict D drive only, kemudian klik Apply --> OK
Cek di My Computer untuk melihat hasilnya.

Untuk menampilkan kembali, lakukan urutan langkah yang sama, kemudian pada Jendela Hide specified drives in My Computer pilih opsi Not Configured --> klik Apply --> OK

Trik Membuat Aplikasi Supaya Tidak Berfungsi

Mau agar sebuah aplikasi yang ada di komputer tidak dapat dijalankan?, maksudnya agar orang lain, teman, atau siapa saja tidak bisa menjalankan aplikasi yang dimaksud..hahahaha
Apa seh???Gmna caranya???ya jawabnya adalah Applocker dari Smart-x.com. Kita bisa mengatur aplikasi mana saja yang akan kita blok dan mana saja yang bisa dijalankan.

Silakan download dari websitenya Smart-x.com atau disini untuk file zipnya, ukurannya sekitar 1 MB.
Cara menggunakannya:
Setelah diinstalkan, jalankan program Applocker,
Beri check/contreng pada nama aplikasi yang akan di-nonaktifkan , kemudian klik Save --> Close.


Silakan coba jalankan aplikasi yang tadi dicontreng, maka akan ada peringatan seperti ini :


Untuk aplikasi yang tidak terdaftar pada list, kita bisa memasukan secara manual.
Klik Configure , pada kolom Caption isi dengan nama aplikasi (namanya bebas), pada kolom executable file name isi dengan nama file exe-nya --> Klik Add--> Klik OK.



Untuk menormalkan kembali, uncheck nama aplikasi yang akan dinormalkan..

Mempercepat Proses Shutdown Pada Windows

Mungkin kmoe2 pernah mengalami proses shutdown yang begitu lama pada saat anda ingin mematikan komputer anda. Kmoe dah mau buru2 kbelet pi2s maw ke blkang atow maw buru2 Out, eh mlah maw shutdown aj mesti nungguin lama....sbelll khan?? hehehe..sma bro...gwe jg pnah gt.
Nah, dont worry bro,,,,Berikut ada beberapa teknik yang bisa digunakan untuk mempercepat proses shutdown windows yaitu dengan cara memodifikasi beberapa registry pada windows kmoe. Lets try it!!

1. Digunakan untuk menutup semua aplikasi pada saat shutdown (auto kill ).
- Masuk ke registry editor anda ( Start –> Run –> Ketik regedit )
- Masuk ke registry berikut
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
- Cari key dengan nama “AutoEndTasks” dan klik kanan key tersebut lalu pilih Modify, ubah Value Data menjadi 1.

2. Digunakan untuk merubah waktu menutup suatu aplikasi jika ada aplikasi yang Hang.
- Masuk ke registry editor anda ( Start –> Run –> Ketik regedit )
- Masuk ke registry berikut
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
- Cari key dengan nama “WaitToKillAppTimeout” dan “HungAppTimeout”.
- Klik kanan masing-masing key tersebut lalu pilih Modify dan ubah Value Data menjadi 1000.

3. Digunakan untuk menonaktifkan fasilitas Clearing Paging File.
Sebelum menggunakan langkah ini anda bisa lihat apa kegunaan paging file disini http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paging_file.
- Masuk ke registry editor anda ( Start –> Run –> Ketik regedit )
- Masuk ke registry berikut
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SessionManager\Memory Management
- Cari key dengan nama “ClearPageFileOnShutdown”.
- Klik kanan key tersebut lalu pilih Modify dan ubah Value Data menjadi 0 jika Value Data belum sama dengan 0.
